Departmental Rules
- A minimum of 75% attendance in classes is required for students to be eligible to appear for final examinations, in line with university regulations.
- Students must return all borrowed materials from the Departmental Library before collecting their admit cards for the final exams.
- Students are expected to actively participate in seminars, workshops, debates, and field visits organized by the department to enhance their practical knowledge of economics.
- Students must appear for Class Tests, Pre-Tests, and Test Examinations as part of the department’s evaluation system.
- Students must inform the Head of Department (HoD) in writing if they are absent for more than seven consecutive days due to any valid reason (e.g., illness or personal emergency).
- Students must handle all department resources, including computers, study materials, and projectors, with care. Any damage to department property must be reported immediately.
- Students are expected to maintain academic integrity. Plagiarism, cheating, or any form of dishonesty in exams, assignments, or projects will lead to strict disciplinary actions.
- Students must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times. Any involvement in ragging, harassment, or disruptive behavior will be subject to disciplinary action.
- Students must ensure the department remains clean and organized. Waste must be disposed of properly in the designated dustbins on campus.
- Students are required to switch off lights, fans, and electrical appliances when leaving classrooms or any department facilities to save energy.
