Departmental Rules
- A minimum of 75% attendance in classes is mandatory to be eligible for the final examination, as per university guidelines.
- Students must return any borrowed items to the Departmental Library before collecting their admit cards for the final examinations.
- Students are expected to actively participate in departmental events such as seminars, poetry recitations, workshops, cultural exhibitions, and other literary activities.
- It is compulsory to appear in Class Tests, Pre-Tests, and Test Examinations to ensure academic progress and evaluation.
- Students must inform the Head of the Department (HoD) in writing if they are absent for more than seven consecutive days.
- Students are expected to maintain a respectful and disciplined academic environment and are strictly prohibited from engaging in ragging, harassment, or disruptive behavior.
- Students must ensure that they dispose of waste in the designated dustbins and refrain from littering within the department and the campus.
- Students must switch off lights and fans when leaving classrooms or department areas to conserve energy.
- Students are responsible for the proper use of all departmental resources, books, equipment, and infrastructure, and should report any damage or issues immediately.
- Students must adhere to the college's code of conduct, treating faculty, staff, and peers with respect and fostering a harmonious academic atmosphere.
